Arizona man sentenced to prison on drug trafficking charges in Pennsylvania

Culver City bank robbery suspect nabbed following attempted robbery in Los Angeles.A guy from Arizona was convicted to federal narcotics trafficking charges in Pennsylvania.

The Department of Justice reported that Carlos Zamora, 30, of Phoenix, was sentenced to 35 years in prison on Wednesday.

Zamora was convicted following a two-and-a-half-week trial in September 2025.

Prosecutors claimed he was one of 35 people participating in a drug trafficking enterprise that transported millions of fentanyl pills, hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine, and dozens of kilos of cocaine into Western Pennsylvania and other regions of the country.

Evidence presented in court indicated that Zamora was also involved in a drive-by shooting while in Phoenix.

He was already serving a term for armed robbery when he was arrested in 2025 for allegedly bribing prison employees in Cambria County.
