An illegal alien has been sentenced to only five years in prison for raping a deceased man on a subway car in the sanctuary city of New York City, NY.
Felix Rojas, a 44-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted last year of raping the body of Jorge Gonzalez, 37, aboard the R train. Rojas was jailed last month for raping a corpse.
According to authorities, Gonzalez boarded the train and died on a bench.
Almost three hours later, surveillance film shows Rojas getting on the train, discovering Gonzalez’s motionless corpse, and sexually assaulting him for more than half an hour. After a three-week search by the New York City Police Department, Rojas turned himself up.
According to Breitbart News, officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) found that Rojas had illegally entered the United States many times since 1998.
On April 30, 2025, a few days after he turned himself in, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents filed a detainer against him, requesting detention if he was released from jail at any moment.
New York City’s sanctuary policy normally prohibits law enforcement from collaborating with ICE officials to transfer criminal illegal aliens over to their custody, requiring officers to release such suspects back into the community.
