Turquoise Alert issued for vanished 13-year-old girl last seen in Apache Junction

UPDATE: The Turquoise Alert was canceled after Skyler was located safe on Wednesday.

Authorities have issued a Turquoise Alert for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen in Apache Junction last week.

Skyler Conville was last seen at a Circle K near Meridian Drive and Superstition Boulevard around 1:06 p.m. on Friday, June 19, according to the Apache Junction Police Department.

She wore multi-camouflage pants, a dark gray shirt, and a hot-pink bonnet. Skyler is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 125 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Skyler refused to enter a family member’s car after a disagreement in the gas station parking lot. She walked around the parking lot before being caught on security camera getting into what seemed to be an early 2000s white Chevrolet Impala four-door vehicle with damage to the front bumper on the driver’s side.

The vehicle was last spotted heading westbound on Superstition Boulevard at 1:07 p.m. The driver of the car was captured on security camera and is described as a male in his 50s or 60s with black-and-gray hair, a goatee, and dark eyes. He wore a grey tank top, black shorts, and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about Skyler’s whereabouts should call 911 or the Apache Junction Police Department at 480-982-8260.

Turquoise Alerts are issued when a missing person is under the age of 65, local law enforcement has exhausted all available resources, the person is believed to be in danger or with someone potentially dangerous, and the circumstances surrounding the disappearance are unexplained or suspicious.
