Massachusetts woman who won $1M on State Lottery instant game shows a smaller purchase can bring as much joy as a new house or car

A Massachusetts woman has a small purchase in mind after winning big on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Patti Turner of Plymouth won $1 million in the “Strike It Rich” $10 scratch ticket game.

Turner chose the cash option for her award, receiving a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She intends to use the proceeds to purchase a new Louis Vuitton purse.

She bought her winning ticket at Plymouth Liquor Mart, 285 Court St., Plymouth. The store will receive a $10,000 incentive for selling this ticket.

Strike It Rich has three $4,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes left.
