Police detained a Revere man on various drug counts after a two-month undercover investigation into cocaine distribution.
Juan Reyes, 47, of Revere, was arrested on August 21 after Everett Police Department officers conducted several undercover cocaine purchases from him, according to Police Chief Paul D. Strong.
The Everett Police Department drug unit and the Revere drug unit worked together to undertake the investigation.
Using the undercover purchases, detectives acquired arrest warrants for Reyes as well as search warrants for his Revere residence and vehicles.
On August 21, Revere police stopped Reyes near his home and conducted a forced entry search warrant.
Police seized about 8 kilograms of cocaine, two vehicles (a Volkswagen Jetta and a Mercedes C43 convertible), and $3,380 in cash.
The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and Massachusetts State Police K9 units cooperated with the operation.
Reyes was accused in Middlesex County with three charges of distributing a Class B substance (cocaine).
He is also charged in Suffolk County with trafficking cocaine, possessing fentanyl (blue pills), and possessing methamphetamine in pink pills.
