ORIGINAL: A Toledo mother is pleading for help in finding her daughter, who has been missing for two weeks.
Kahli Cluckey, 25, has been missing for fourteen days. Her mother, Heidi Cluckey, said that her daughter was last seen around Cottage Street.
“I don’t want to receive that call as a mother. No mother, no parent, should have to receive that call, and I’m a scared mess because my daughter is in an abandoned house dead somewhere, someone beat her to death, or someone has done something to her,” Heidi Cluckey said.
The family has placed fliers with Kahli’s picture on Cherry Street and throughout Toledo.
Heidi Cluckey stated that her daughter has been battling a substance use illness, and the family is concerned about her mental health.
“It is hard, and I just want her to get the help she needs before I get that call that she’s gone from the drugs,” Heidi Cluckey told me.
Family and friends have been searching for Kahli all throughout Toledo. Heidi Cluckey stated that her daughter is unusually silent.
“I text all of my girls every morning, ‘Good morning, gorgeous. ‘I love you. They always react. Kahli, no matter what — she’s been suffering with this since March of this year, when it all began — has always remained in touch. She has always phoned me and said, “Mom, I love you.” I’m OK. Yes, Mom. I’m OK. Can I get a few bucks for snacks? The last message, I was looking over my messages, and on the 14th, she said she wanted to get treatment and was battling so hard to get out of this, but she didn’t know how, and the voices in her brain were taking over. “I literally just want to get my baby the help she needs,” Heidi Cluckey stated.
Kahli’s family said any information could help her return home safely.
