A 44-year-old man was taken into custody for child sex charges following an investigation in Texas.
According to the Montgomery County (Texas) Precinct 1 Constable, the ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force was conducting an undercover online investigation when they were approached by 44-year-old Paul Downen from Lafayette.
Following an investigation, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and issued an arrest warrant for Downen.
Downen was arrested by the US Marshals Service on September 16 on a preliminary charge of online solicitation of a minor.
