A man and a 16-year-old boy were detained and accused following a deadly shooting in the Berclair neighborhood late Wednesday night.
Damein Jones, 20, and the teen have now been charged with first-degree murder in the course of a robbery, criminal attempted first-degree murder, and possession of a firearm while committing a hazardous felony.
Officers say it all began when they responded to a shooting in the 400 block of St. Pierre Boulevard, near Summer Avenue and Graham.
The man and the 16-year-old child were found with gunshot wounds at the scene. Both were carried to the hospital, where the man died, according to authorities.
Shortly thereafter, authorities raced to the 500 block of Sharon Street and discovered a third guy, subsequently named Damein Jones, who had been shot.
Jones was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police say a fourth victim man arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. He has now been treated and discharged from the hospital.
During the investigation, authorities believe Jones and the 16-year-old were responsible for the shooting.
Damein Jones is due in court on Monday morning.
