Ronnie Len Barber

Ronnie Len Barber, 62, of Springfield Township, passed away unexpectedly early Friday evening, September 6, 2024, at his home. Born October 31, 1961 in Steubenville, Ohio he was the son of the late James Edward and Evelyn Ola Brown Barber. Ronnie was a retired deckhand with over 27 years of service with the Madison Coal Company.

He is survived by his three children, Matthew (Whitney) Barber, of Bidwell, Candise (Chris) Blucker, of Poland, Ohio and Eric (Jennifer) Barber, of Jackson, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, Bradley Smith, Braelynn Blucker, Mason Blucker, Isaiah Barber, Garrett Barber, Matylyn Barber, Moriah Myers, Braydyn Barber, Logan Peoples, Abigail Barber, Jadalyn Barber and Skylah Barber. Also surviving is a sister, Diana “Dee” (Dave) Tyree, of Middleport, Ohio and two brothers, William “Bill” Barber, of Reedsville, Ohio and Terry (Patty) Barber, of Reedsville, Ohio. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimbo” Barber Jr. and his special Aunt Dot. In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral service. Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis, is honored to serve the Barber family.
