Jacob “Jake” Ryan Crisenbery

Jacob “Jake” Ryan Crisenbery, 30, of Vinton, Ohio died at 8:11 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born on March 11, 1994 in Bluffton, Ohio to Lyndell and LouAnn (Smith) Crisenbery who survive.

Jake was self-employed in the logging and tree trimming business. He loved the thrill of taking on the most challenging jobs. He loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He took pride in making memorable campfires for his family. He also enjoyed riding four wheelers and motorcycles.

Family and friends were very important to Jake, and he was a fiercely loyal to them. His fifteen nieces and nephews were the light and joy of his life, and he was adored by all of them.

It brought him great joy to help anyone he found in need, whether it was someone stranded along the road, cutting wood for someone, or helping a friend with a project. He lived life to the fullest.

He will be remembered by his kind blue eyes, infectious smile, and loving hugs.

He is also survived by seven brothers: Joshua (Sheryl) Crisenbery of Patriot, OH; Jordan Crisenbery of Great Falls, MT; Jarin (Autumn) Crisenbery of Grand Junction, CO; Jesse (Jolynn) Crisenbery of Gallipolis, OH; Jenson (Faith) Crisenbery; Joel (Briana) Crisenbery; and Joseph Crisenbery at home; three sisters: Amanda (Darrel) Rhodes of Carpenter, WY; Alyssa Crisenbery and Andrea Crisenbery at home; his maternal grandparents, Carol and Marie Smith; and his beloved nieces and nephews Carson, Sabrina, Lyndsey, and Josie Crisenbery; Alexis, Tessa, and Ayden Crisenbery; Lanae, Tyrell, and Kaylee Rhodes; Brady and Kolton Crisenbery; Liam Crisenbery; and Luke and Lyla Crisenbery.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Gene and Marian Crisenbery.

The Funeral Service for Jake will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church in Rodney, Ohio.  Burial will follow in Valley View Mennonite Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church.
