Dorothy Brown, 88, of Pomeroy Pike Community, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born on December 15, 1932 daughter of the late Russell and Blanche Painter.
She attended the Flatwoods United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her; sons, Glenn and Debbie Brown, Sammie and Loretta Brown, Terry and Paula Brown; grandchildren, Aaron (Tiffany) Brown, Alex (Melissa) Brown, Kindell (Eric) Workamn, Kristen (John) McGee, Kelby Brown, and Samantha Schoettmer; 12 great grandchildren, Cami Jones, Sadi Jones, Anna Brown, Brayden Brown, Braxton Brown, Brycen Brown, Emery Workman, Logan McGee, Landon McGee, Kasey Ginther, Khloe Batey, Jaxon Nelson; sister, Mary Rouch; brother-in-law, Bill Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Brown; brothers, Robert Painter, Russell Painter Jr., and Ralph Painter, sister-in-law, Dorothy Jenks; brother, Tommy Jenks; nephew Bruce Jenks.
Private graveside services will he held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cooperative Parrish, 260 Mulberry Ave. Pomeroy, Ohio 45769
