Meigs Co. Better Livestock 4-H Dairy Club Holds Meeting

POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Better Livestock 4-H Dairy Club held a meeting on April 24, 2022 at the Rutland Bottle Gas Building Domestic Arts Buidling at the Meigs County Fairgrounds.

Club president Kyra Zuspan led the pledges and presided over the meeting with 42 in attendance. Committee reports were the Treasurer’s Report and minutes form the last meeting.

Officer and committee roles were voted on and filled. Officers are: Kyra Zuspan, president; Corey Seth, vice president; Lex Ingels, secretary; Ella Bailey, treasurer; Landen Woods, Lance Hensler, Conor Knotts, safety officers; Case Dettwiller, Kensley Karr, Kalijah Krawsczyn, health officers; Alyssa Richards, news reporter; Peyton Bailey, Maddy Karr, historians; Allison Goudy, Porter Webb, Addalyn Sargent, recreastion leaders; Bella Johnson, community service leader. Alyssa Webb is the advisor.

The club voted on 4-H Club shirts for 2022, discussed educational field trips as well as fun field trips. Members voted to attend the Strawberry Patch on June 1 and Snowville Creamery on June 29. Project books were handed out to all members.

There was a demonstration and details given about poultry projects. Members were reminded to complete Quality Assurance as soon as possible and noted tag-in is May 7.

The next meeting of the Meigs County Better Livestock 4-H Dairy Club is May 15, at 3 p.m. at the Meigs County Fairgrounds.
