Police are searching for Dilyan Jones, 18, who is wanted on a felony arrest warrant for a robbery on Oct. 7.
Authorities proceeded to the 200 block of Washington Street in East Stroudsburg, where they discovered that Jones and another man, Joene Maduro, had stolen the victim’s phone.
According to authorities, Jones seized the victim’s phone, and Maduro threatened him by asking if he was “ready to die for it.” Jones then wanted $100 from the victim for returning the phone, surrounding him until he paid.
Maduro was detained on the scene. Police are urging anyone with knowledge about Jones’ whereabouts to contact them.
