A 13-year-old boy was shot on Sunday night while walking near a gas station in the Englewood area.
According to authorities, the boy was in the 800 block of West 59th Street around 9:19 p.m. when a dark SUV with four persons inside approached and began firing.
The boy was struck in the left leg and grazed on the right leg.
A cousin took him to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was described as in good condition. There have been no arrests, and Area One detectives are investigating.
