A 19-year-old Davenport man who was already on felony probation was arrested Monday morning after deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a community clubhouse in Palm Key Village.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies were summoned to the clubhouse on US 27 about 8:23 a.m. on Monday, October 13th, after receiving a report that a suspect had entered the premises through a window.

Deputies responded swiftly, spotted the defendant, Jaylon Arnez Harrison of Davenport, and arrested him without incident.

Harrison was arrested for reportedly possessing two bottles of a prescription medication without a valid prescription.

Harrison was on felony probation for a number of previous convictions, including grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, disrupting a school event, and juvenile possession of a firearm.

Harrison was taken to the Sheriff’s Processing Center and charged with burglary, petit theft, unlawful possession of a prescription medicine, and probation violation.
