Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Apprehended In Louisiana After Months On The Run

Spencer Mandell Giron, a Texas 10 Most Wanted sex offender, was apprehended on October 8, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Texas DPS Special Agents from Beaumont and the Lake Charles Police Department worked together to make the arrest.

Giron, a 48-year-old from Texas, was wanted for failing to meet registration requirements for sex offenders. According to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, he had previously been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child in 1998 and dangerous narcotics in 2017.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a traffic stop on Giron, resulting in his arrest without incident. Although the apprehension was successful, no prize will be offered because Texas Crime Stoppers did not receive a report that led to the arrest.
