Authorities in Alaska have confirmed that a body discovered on Monday belonged to one of the proprietors of Mankato Radio and Lakeland Media. The Alaska Department of Public Safety claims that 39-year-old David Linder’s body was discovered in a log jam on a nearby river. Linder, 38-year-old Jeremy Lief of Golden Valley, and 39-year-old Charles Eppard of Montana were lost following an avalanche while heli-skiing in March. According to Alaska Wildlife Troopers, they were buried under at least 40 feet of snow, possibly up to 100 feet deep. The search for Lief and Eppard continues.
