Whitestown police apprehended an Indianapolis woman who was allegedly found with more than 20 pounds of cocaine.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, police from the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department pulled over a black Chevrolet sedan on Interstate 65 southbound near the 131-mile marker. After the vehicle complied, WMPD officers reported smelling a “strong odor” of marijuana coming from it.

During the search, officers discovered a black duffel bag containing 10 large silver-wrapped parcels, according to the WMPD. The substances later tested positive for cocaine and weighed around 24.5 pounds. The WMPD estimates the street value of the recovered drugs at approximately $176,000.

Tionia Miles, 36, was arrested at the scene and transported to the Boone County Jail, where she is facing preliminary accusations of cocaine dealing, which are level 2 felonies.
