Two people have been arrested in connection with a death that occurred on Christmas Eve at a home in Forest.
Willie Shepard, according to the Forest Police Department, was killed at a Northwest Street home.
The investigation revealed evidence of foul play, including blunt force trauma that was not consistent with an accidental fall.
On Monday, Paul Kenyardo Ringo, 50, and Christopher Williams, 50, both from Forest, were detained.
According to authorities, a subsequent investigation found that the victim’s death was most likely caused by a strong-arm robbery.
Ringo was charged with capital murder and is currently being held at the Scott County Jail.
Williams was charged with obstructing an investigation and providing false information to law police.
