One person has died and another remains hospitalized after a shooting in downtown Columbus on Saturday evening, according to a Columbus police commander at the scene.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of South Grant Avenue at 6:57 p.m.
The injured victim is currently in stable condition.
Police said they have detained several individuals for questioning.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a robbery.
