Westchester County police say a New York City man is facing charges for allegedly pretending to be a police officer.
According to police, Dylan Gonzalez, 26, was arrested in the Village of Bronxville last Friday. Gonzalez allegedly had a loaded revolver, phones, a badge, and an NYPD-issued radio on him. According to police, he also had bulletproof jackets, a phony detective shield, and other equipment.
Police also located his car.
Gonzalez was charged with both weapon possession and criminal impersonation.
He was arraigned in Village of Bronxville Justice Court and is currently in jail.
