A shooting early Sunday morning in Northside killed two people and injured two others, according to Cincinnati police officers on the scene.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of Hamilton Avenue, near the Spotlight Lounge, a local bar. Officers rushed to the location of a suspected gunshot and discovered four victims.
All four were transported to the UC Medical Center. According to authorities, two died at the hospital, while the other two had non-life-threatening injuries.
The CPD identified Quiade Daniels, 23, and Vermonte Blair, 32, as the two individuals who died.
According to officers, the incident began as an altercation near the Spotlight Lounge. Two people were apprehended, and two guns were found. It has not been established whether the arrest or the weapons were related to the incident.
