A Toledo man is in custody after reportedly threatening to commit a mass shooting on Tuesday.
Trey Radford, 27, is facing a felony charge of making a terroristic threat after police say he threatened to “shoot up” his former employer.
According to authorities, Radford planned to shoot up during a specified shift. He also allegedly claimed to have multiple firearms, including a “switch,” a gadget that converts semi-automatic handguns into fully automatic rifles.
According to a police affidavit, multiple colleagues at Radford’s previous employer received the threats and feared he would follow through on them.
Radford’s bond amount was set at $25,000. He was placed on house arrest.
He’s expected back in court on Thursday.
