A popular 22-year-old social media influencer and model killed in a weekend vehicle crash that also killed another passenger, authorities said.
One of the victims was identified as Ayzia J. Toledo, a Philadelphia resident renowned for her modeling and lifestyle content under the handle “AYZIA J.”
Toledo was driving a BMW with two other passengers late Sunday night when she lost control on a New Jersey expressway, officials told Fox News Digital on Monday.
The vehicle drove off the road, overturned, and smashed into a tree in Deptford Township, approximately 12 miles south of Philadelphia.
“Toledo lost directional control of the vehicle, raced off the left side of the road, crashed, and collided with a tree, according to New Jersey State Police.
Toledo and her front-seat companion “sustained fatal injuries,” according to officials.
The second victim has been named as Henrietta F. Carter, a 22-year-old lady from Darby, Pennsylvania, a Philadelphia suburb.
According to officials, a third passenger in the vehicle’s back seat sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Officials stated the crash is still being investigated.
Toledo was a renowned social media influencer who frequently posted about beauty, fashion, and her life in Philadelphia. She had more than 300,000 followers on her social media sites, including over 250,000 on TikTok and over 87,000 on Instagram.
After learning of her demise, admirers swarmed her social media pages with expressions of grief and condolence.
Toledo’s GoFundMe page states that she was “building an incredible future for herself.”According to the campaign, Ayzia was loved by her family, close friends, and community members.Ayzia has gone to Heaven to rest peacefully with her beloved mother and grandma.”
Her death occurred on the same day that another young influencer was slain in a drive-by shooting while driving a Lamborghini SUV in Miramar, Florida.
Officials identified the woman as Brianna Johnson, a 21-year-old video maker also known as DreamDoll Brii.
