San Francisco 49ers owner John “Jed” York was arrested in Northeast Ohio over the weekend.
According to court documents, York was convicted of two misdemeanor: possessing criminal tools and disorderly conduct.
According to records, he was originally charged with prostitution, but the allegation was later modified to disorderly behavior.
He was detained in East Palestine on Sunday, paid a $5,000 bond, and pled no contest to the charges Monday.
York was sentenced to two days in the Columbiana County Jail, served consecutively, and fined $1,150.
According to records, a cell phone was ordered returned to York, and the $160 confiscated was forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force (MVHTTF) as part of the arrangement.
The East Palestine Police Department aided the MVHTTF in the arrest of York, and the case is still being investigated. The case was referred to the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration.
The court docket also shows that an expungement request was filed.

According to his online biography, York is the 49ers’ majority owner and CEO since 2008.
York was born and reared in Youngstown and was a student athlete at Cardinal Mooney High School, where he captained the baseball team.
Jed lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two sons.
