Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting on I-94 Saturday afternoon that left a man seriously injured.
According to Minneapolis Police, authorities received the shooting report around 4:38 p.m. Officers found the victim on the freeway along northbound 35W at 11th Avenue. The man was transported to a hospital for treatment and remains in critical condition, police said.
Police said video captured the shooting, allowing investigators to determine that it occurred on eastbound I-94 between Portland Avenue and Chicago Avenue.
Authorities shut down sections of the interstate while collecting evidence.
Police believe the suspect left the scene in a vehicle, traveling eastbound on I-94.
