Rosenberg police are sending a message to others after a vehicle allegedly smashed into a store overnight in search of a restroom.
Rosenberg: Driver crashes into store for bathroom
Police said the crash occurred at Kroger about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to authorities, the driver purposefully accelerated the truck and collided with Kroger, damaging the drugstore entryway.
According to officials, the driver, a 60-year-old man, stated that he needed to use the restroom and was furious that the doors had been closed. The department verified to FOX 26 that the man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief.
“We strongly recommend finding a store open for business to conduct your business,” the department stated on social media.
