Cincinnati Man Detained In Dearborn Co. For Distributing Meth

In early 2025, the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation related to meth distribution.

During the investigation, police were able to purchase more than 111 grams of suspected methamphetamine from the suspect, Troy Thomas.

Thomas was arrested on Wednesday after being noticed driving through Dearborn County. He was eventually apprehended at a recognized location in Greendale, where he frequently sold suspected narcotics, investigators say.

Thomas, 38, of Cincinnati, was allegedly in possession of about 117.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine when he was arrested. According to Special Crimes Unit detectives, Thomas reportedly distributed substantial amounts of methamphetamine in Dearborn County for several years.

Thomas is charged with dealing in methamphetamine.

According to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas has a lengthy criminal record in Hamilton County, including aggravated robbery, multiple firearms convictions, and narcotics trafficking.
