A Marshall County woman was indicted after an investigation into the improper use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
Klisha Johnson was taken into custody on June 24, 2026, after an inquiry revealed that she had fraudulently obtained $27,068 in SNAP benefits.
Investigators stated that the matter was sent to the Marshall County District Attorney’s Office, where an indictment was obtained on June 12, 2026. Marshall County authorities took Johnson into custody.
