Police in Hamilton searched for a missing 27-year-old man who fled from a caregiver near Tylersville Road and By-Pass 4.
UPDATE: Officers from the Hamilton Police Department located the man shortly before 9 p.m. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The search prompted a multi-agency operation that included K9 support and drones.
The missing person has been identified as Alpha Omenga Ouattara, a Black male. According to police, Ouattara stands around 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 207 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue trousers and a blue checkered shirt. He lives in Cincinnati.
According to authorities, Ouattara fled the region after leaving the custody of an Empower Community Services caregiver. He has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and autistic spectrum disorder.
Officers from the Hamilton and Fairfield Township police departments, as well as a Monroe police K9 officer, have been actively scouring the area and nearby jurisdictions. According to police, officers have been conducting foot searches as well as using drones. The Hamilton Police Department’s detectives are continuing their investigation.
