A 38-year-old convicted criminal from Ocala who pled guilty to fentanyl distribution and firearm-related crimes was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Corderrius Terrelle McShane was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Monday, February 2, 2026, for the following offenses: distribution of more than 40 grams of fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute more than 40 grams of fentanyl, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
McShane pleaded guilty to the aforementioned offenses.
According to court records, McShane sold about 55 grams of fentanyl in November 2024. During the same month, law enforcement authorities in Escambia County stopped a car driven by McShane and discovered over 230 grams of fentanyl and a loaded weapon in his possession.
McShane was arrested and brought into the Escambia County Jail. McShane had past felony convictions for possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted criminal, resisting law enforcement with violence, cocaine possession, and felony firearm possession.
