Four defendants charged in a 2024 drive-by shooting have all pled guilty, with punishments of up to decades in jail each.
According to court documents, four individuals who pled guilty to their roles in Rayshawn Rogers’ death could face a total of 120 years in prison for several counts.
Sincere Langford, Terrell Felton, Kenrell Felton, and Marcus Person pled guilty to two charges of attempted murder and one count each of involuntary manslaughter and firearm discharge. Each case of involuntary manslaughter (10-15 years) follows the other three counts, which run concurrently (nine years).
Each case also includes two mandatory three-year weapon requirements, resulting in a total aggregate penalty of 25 to 30 years.
The charges originate from Rogers’ murder, which occurred on September 19, 2024, in South Linden. Rogers was wounded in the face as the suspects drove along East 12th Avenue and fired at his home. He was rushed to the hospital in severe condition and died two days later.
Fingerprints were recovered from the vehicle in question, leading to the arrest of Langford and both Feltons on October 3, 2024. The person was apprehended the next day.
Rogers and five other suspects, including Devon Robinson, allegedly cornered and killed 38-year-old Mario Copeland in September 2022. According to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, those suspects exacted revenge after Copeland reportedly supplied tainted fentanyl to Lithasha Streeter, who died from an overdose.
In that case, Robinson was sentenced to 25–30 years in prison, while Rogers’ accusations were dismissed. Police did not say whether the two homicides were connected.
