CLEVELAND — Severe storms are more likely to develop today as this morning’s heat and humidity continue to build.
All types of severe weather could develop today. That means conditions may support damaging wind gusts, large hail, frequent lightning, torrential rain, and even a few isolated tornadoes.
The storms are expected to form ahead of an approaching cold front, which will help trigger stronger thunderstorms later in the day.
After the front moves through, temperatures are expected to fall sharply, bringing much cooler conditions for the next couple of days.
