3 pups found abandoned in Cleveland — animal control needs your help

After three dogs were found abandoned in an east side backyard this week, Cleveland Animal Care & Control is asking for the public’s help in identifying their owner.

The animal control agency released a photo showing the puppies—two confined in a cage and another tied up outside—alongside a message urging the public to help identify where the dogs came from and ensure those responsible are held accountable:

“Please share this post to help us identify where these dogs came from and hold those responsible accountable.”

Officials said they found the animals in this condition in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood near Bartlett Avenue. Animal control did not indicate how long the dogs may have been left there, nor did it provide any information about whether they suffered injuries.

Community members are asked to call officials at 216-664-3069 or text 216-835-8238 with any pertinent information.
