A couple on the run for murder in Maryland was apprehended in Ohio.
Hilde Henderson, 67, was discovered dead in her flat at the Charter House in Silver Spring on May 26.
An autopsy found that she died from blunt force trauma on May 22.
Montgomery County Police tracked down her daughter Vanessa Wahanganisa Tjongarero-Henderson and her lover, Samantha Raebel, using evidence acquired at the incident.
On June 10, the duo was in Genoa, Ohio.”A resident recognized them based on media coverage and a Montgomery County Department of Police news release,” authorities stated.
Both are being kept in detention pending extradition to Maryland.
No motive was revealed.
