Four students were taken into custody after a fight broke out at Lyman High School on Thursday, according to the Longwood Police Department.
News 6 received a tip about the incident, which claimed that a weapon was discovered on campus and that multiple fights broke out.
In response, News 6 contacted the LPD, who confirmed that there were no weapons involved—”just a basic fight between students.”
Police added that four students were arrested in all, with each facing a charge of disorderly behavior.
A district spokeswoman also informed News 6 that the brawl started during lunch, but there were no weapons involved.
At this moment, no other information has been revealed, including the specific cause of the fight or whether anyone was injured.
