34-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Beachwood Shooting; BCI Joins Investigation

CLEVELAND, Ohio  – A shooting in Beachwood left a 34-year-old man hospitalized early Wednesday morning.

According to a Beachwood Police Department release, officers responded to a reported shooting on Glenhill Drive at around 5:30 a.m.

Police said officers arrived within two minutes and discovered a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided medical aid before paramedics transported him to the hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed that no suspect is in custody and there is no immediate threat to the public.

BCI was called in to assist the Beachwood Police investigation, according to Steve Irwin, communications director for Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost.
