A Wisconsin teenager faces an arrest warrant for his role in a fatal shooting of another teen.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office identified 15‑year‑old Robbiel Stokes after prosecutors charged him with first‑degree intentional homicide. Police responded to reports of a shooting in Milwaukee just before 5 p.m. on September 19. Officers discovered 16‑year‑old Camron Bowen lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds; he died at the scene.
Prosecutors presented surveillance video showing Camron on a county bus minutes before the alleged shooting, standing behind Stokes. The complaint states the teens engaged in a “heated” conversation before both exited the bus.
The bus driver testified that he picked up both teens at the same stop and seated them near each other in the rear of the bus. He recalled pulling over, allowing the passengers to disembark, and hearing gunshots while observing Camron fleeing from Stokes, who allegedly brandished a “silver pistol” toward Camron.
According to the driver, Stokes pursued Camron, fired several shots, and then fled. The driver immediately reported the incident to dispatch.

Police reported that six seconds after the boys left the bus, Stokes withdrew a handgun from his hoodie while Camron’s back faced him and began firing. Camron ran in front of the bus to escape, collapsed in the roadway, and died at the scene.
The complaint notes that Stokes’ mother informed police her son called her around 4:57 p.m. to request a ride home. She found him on the street, soaked by rain, and dropped him off at his grandmother’s house. When police showed her two images from the shooting, she identified her son as the suspect. With her consent, officers searched her vehicle and recovered a federal .40‑caliber Smith & Wesson cartridge from the back‑seat floor, matching the caliber of casings found at the crime scene.
In an interview, the principal of the school both boys attended disclosed that Camron and Stokes had fought three days before the shooting.
Prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for Stokes on Friday; he remains at large. Speaking to local NBC affiliate WTMJ, Camron’s mother, Jennifer Cassidy, said, “I’m happy that I know who it is. I’m happy that I know it was exactly what I suspected. It is just hard because he is not caught yet. I just don’t want this happening to anybody else.”
Camron had turned 16 just one week before his death.
